heyy girls, I found this site and I hope yall can help me! I am a young mom, and a college student. I am looking for a cute, comfy casual shoes that would go with graphic tess, that dont kill me! Is there such a thing? I was thinking like some flat boots? I have some flats but I dont really dont like wearing them in the winter here,bc it rains and its cold! thanks

Hi Jraldous,

First, thanks for joining! My site is under a bit of construction as of late but I am pushing forward to get the ball rolling again so welcome aboard.

I have found this season that DSW has been a FAB place for boots. There are so many styles and colors and heights to choose from it's crazy. I myself, seldom wear flats but I know they have tons of them there. Some members will be surprised to know I bought two pairs. Check out the past "Shoes of the Week". Happy Shopping! I second Less' comments. (I usually do! BTW Less, I have been gone too long! I'm back girl!!) DSW has just a TON of cute little ankle booties right now that I LOVE with graphic tees and skinny jeans or leggings. I'm angling for these ones from Blowfish:

Mad adorable, and they come in brown or black. They have a bit of a heel, just enough to keep your foot out of the water, but nothing you can't wrangle kids in.

I never wore heels until recently. I have found that boots with a little bit of a wedge heel give you the same warmth and comfort that flat boots do with a classy more sofisticated look. I just got a pair from DSW that are comfortable enough to wear all day when I'm running around and still look cute no matter what I'm wearing.
