A Shoe Addicts Letter to Santa
Dear Santa Claus,
Please bring to me
Jimmy Choos under my Christmas tree
I've been a very good girl, you see
So please bring several new pairs for me
Ok, so it's a little corny and a bit on the childish side, but what self-proclaimed shoe addict wouldn't love to wake up and find brand new designer shoes under her tree from Santa Claus? And if all it takes is writing a letter, then hey, I'm game. Hopefully, jolly old Saint Nick will stop by my house and drop off a few boxes with my name on them. I'll even put out cookies and milk. Heck, if he's toting Jimmy Choos there'll be spiked eggnog and gourmet pastries. I'm not above bribing the old man. Back rubs and walking the reindeer (not me of course, I'd hire someone) just might seal the deal. And which Jimmy Choos do I want (need)? Well, any really but since I'm asking.
Santa, I'd like a pair of Lumiere Patent d'Orsays, size 8 1/2 please.
Plus, a pair of PEP LOOP rockstar heels which will help support a good cause Jimmy Choo 72
Oh and let's not forget about the Detroit suede, cut-out sandal booties, which I think I should have also, mainly because I live in the Metro Detroit area and I should promote their style in the city as well.
But hold on, just because I LOVE my Choos, don't go thinking I'd pass on any other designer models. Santa please tell your elves to load the sleigh with a few Manolo Blahniks for me too. I'm certain Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw, SATC) shouldn't be the only one with an extensive collection. My shiny new pedicure will look just as delightful in a pair of Something Blue satin pumps. OK, so my toes won't show in them, but they will still welcome their new temporary home.
And have you seen the new Cava Fur Trim OTK boots? I'll be good for a long time (no, I can't narrow it down any more than that) for a pair of these lovelies, Santa Baby!
Next on the list, I'd like some Christian Louboutins. Just a pair or two to go with my little black (blue, red) dress. Maybe a pair of satin Anemone pumps or...
some Eugenie suede black pumps, rhinestone covered platform and heels.
Did I forget any? Yes, dozens and dozens, I could go on all day. However, Christmas isn't about getting all the fabulous designers shoes I want. It's just fun to wish for them. I'm sure when you stop by my house Santa Claus or do you prefer Kris Kringle, umm nevermind, you'll do me up just right.
And don't you worry, don't you fear
when Christmas eve in finally here
I'm sure that Santa will climb on down
the chimney without a single sound
He'll place the presents 1, 2, 3
for you and her, and some me
Then we'll be patient, even good
and wait until morning, like we should
We'll stay in bed, we will not spy
but when the sun does hit the sky
To the tree we all will run
hoping for new shoes, by the ton
Thank you Santa, we will say
and we'll wear them all to bed that day
Dreaming of how St. Nick did us so swell
makes us wonder, Is Mrs. Claus is a shoe addict as well?
